On Sunday, senior IAS officers Ananya Das, who is also the Sambalpur Collector, and Chanchal Rana, the Bolangir Collector, exchanged engagement rings at Das's residence in Sambalpur, as confirmed by sources present at the event.
The couple plans to get married within the next three months. Both officers had been previously married - Das to Koraput Collector Abdaal Akhtar and Rana to Rayagada Collector Swadha Dev Singh. However, they have decided to marry each other after their respective separations.
