The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will commence on March 31 in Ahmedabad, with the four-time champions Chennai Super Kings facing defending champions Gujarat Titans in the opening match.
The team, led by the iconic Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has been one of the most consistent teams in the tournament. However, they had a poor showing in the 2022 season, finishing in the ninth position after the league stage.
