- 1/2 Cup Desiccated coconut (toast it)
- 10-15 Cashews and almonds
- Desiccated coconut (to roll the Laddu)
- 1 tbsp Ghee (to toast the nuts)
- 1 cup Condensed milk
- 2 tbsp Khoya
How to Make Nariyal Ladoo (Coconut Laddu)
1. Add grated coconut to a pan and toast them just a little. (Identical to dry roasting spices) It needs to be regularly stirred to prevent burning.2. While still cooking, condensed milk should be added to the roasted coconut and thoroughly combined. Then mix well before adding the khoya. Maintain the heat and continue mixing until the mixture begins to pull away from the pan's sides.
3. It will be ready as it emerges from the sides. Remove it from the heat.
4. Ghee-fry some cashews and almonds.
5. Create little circles out of the mixture. Place a few dry fruits inside these rounds, then shape them into tiny balls.
6. Roll these balls over desiccated coconut and the nariyal ladoos are ready to be served!
