Paneer Masala Recipe Ingredients
- 1 Cup Fresh Tomato Puree
- ½ Cup Curd whisked
- 350 gms, Paneer, cubes
- ½ tsp Kasuri Methi
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1 -inch Cinnamon Stick
- 2-3 Cloves
- 2 Cardamom Pods
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- 2 tsp Red Chili powder
- ½ tsp Coriander Powder
- ¼ tsp Cumin Powder
- ¼ tsp Garam Masala powder
Paneer Masala Cooking Method
- First clean and cut the paneer into cube sizes
- Take a pan and heat the ghee in that. Add onion and saute for a few minutes.
- Add all the whole spices (not powders) and let them crackle.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and saute till fragrant.
- Add all the powdered spices and mix well, then put tomato puree and cook for a few minutes.
- Add curd and mix well and then add a cup of water.
- Season with salt and let it simmer for 5mins.
- Add paneer cubes and cook for 2 mins.
- Add garam masala and kasuri methi, cook for 2mins more and turn off the flame.
- Serve hot with chapatti or Rice.
