Ingredients for Odia Dahi Chicken Curry
- 250 gms chicken (small pieces)
- 1 cup curd
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 2 tsp kasoori methi
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 -1 cup water
Method to cook Odia Dahi Chicken Curry
- Take a pan or kadhai and heat the oil
- Put the chicken in the pan and fry it till they are golden in color.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste, saute till it covers the chicken well.
- Then add curd, Salt, cream, pepper powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, kasoori methi, green chilies, and all other ingredients, except the water.
- Cover the top and allow it to cook on low heat for about 25 mins or till the chicken turns delicate.
- Do check-in between, add water if it requires any to form a gravy.
- Your Dahi chicken is ready to eat, serve with naan or chapati.
