Long Covid-19 is a new disease: People with Covidium usually return to normal within two weeks. In some patients, mild symptoms appear for a few days. In many cases, however, these symptoms appear to be persistent for a long time and the infected person faces many problems. This type of symptom is called Long Covid-19 or Long Code-19.
It is more common in older people with diabetes, liver problems, high blood pressure, cancer, COPD, and asthma. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, coughing, chest and joint pain, headaches, chest pains, memory loss, insomnia, loss of concentration, blurred hair, and blemishes on the skin. The lungs are the most affected in this case. After Covid pneumonia, various problems appear in the lungs. Later, the heart muscle becomes more damaged. From time to time, these patients have a higher risk of a heart attack.
Lasting symptoms of coronavirus can include:
- fatigue
- breathlessness
- anxiety and depression
- palpitations
- chest pains
- joint or muscle pain
- not being able to think straight or focus (‘brain fog’)
