The Directorate of higher secondary education department has invited online applications from students for admission into higher secondary schools (previously junior colleges) for plus II courses from June 6.
Students can apply online through www.samsodisha.gov.in. They can pay the application fee through online mode only and can take a print out of application form and payment receipt. The last date for submission of print copy online applied common application form (CAF) is June 21at any Student Academic Management System (SAMS) across the state.
Manually filled CAFs need to be submitted on June 21 at any SAMS resource center along with supporting documents. Application fee for general students is Rs 300 and for ST and SC category is Rs 200.
Merit list of first selection will be published at 11 am on June 26. Admission of the students selected in the first list will be held between June 28 and July 2. Merit list of second selection will be out on July 8.
Admission for second selection candidates will start from July 9 and continue till 5pm on July 11.Spot selection merit list will be published at 11 am on July 16 and registration will be conducted at 2pm on the same day. After the publication of the final list of spot selection at 5 pm on July 18, admission will be conducted for these candidates between July 20 and 22.
