Recently released Top Cleanest Railway Station in india by railway minister Piyush Goyal, Where Bhubaneswar ranked 9th among 75 A1 category railway stations in india.The cleanliness survey conducted by Quality Council of India (QCI).
According to Last year survey report Bhubaneswar station had achieved 13th rank and Puri railway station has bagged 37th spot.But This year the rank has been improved. Bhubaneswar ranked 9th and Puri ranked 22nd. These two railway stations from Odisha State, which come under the jurisdictions of the East Coast Railways (ECoR) were selected under A1 category.
According to the survey report, compared to 2017, there is nine per cent improvement in top 100 stations, 14 per cent in the next 100.
This latest survey report puts Cuttack railway station at 30th position under ‘A’ category.
Last year, Cuttack’s rank was 100 but this year Cuttack ranked 30th position. Others railway stations in odisha, like Brahmapur (35), Jajpur Keonjhar Road (39), Rayagada (64), Khurdha (127), Bhadrak (160) and Sambalpur (239) were placed under ‘A’ category.
