Early Life
Arpita Choudhary, born and raised in Berhampur, Odisha, underscores the
significant role that independent and digital platforms play in shaping
the Odia music industry. In addition to her notable participation in "The
Voice of Odisha," she has also made appearances on Prarthana TV.
Arpita's artistic journey commenced at the age of 6 when she began
learning Odissi dance from Gurushri Satyabadi Nayak and Sujata Mahapatra.
Her early dedication to dance resulted in several achievements, including
winning national and state-level awards during her schooling at St.
Vincent's Convent School.
As a singer, Arpita's musical journey started at the age of 10. Her
participation in the first edition of "Voice of Odisha" showcased her
talent, earning her a place among the top contestants. Over the years, she
has contributed her voice to numerous upcoming albums and songs for Odia
films in Ollywood.
Education
Arpita completed her schooling at St. Vincent's Convent School, Berhampur,
in 2012. She pursued her Plus 2 science at SBR Women's College, Berhampur,
under the CHSE Board in 2024. Continuing her academic journey, she
obtained a B.A. in English Literature from SBR Women's College, Berhampur,
and went on to pursue her Master's in English Literature at Ravenshaw
University, Cuttack.

Arpita Choudhary has ventured into playback singing for various Odia
films and popular music labels, earning acclaim for her rendition of "Nahi
Mo Pade Aji Nupura," a recreation of an iconic song. Her love for Odissi
dance has significantly influenced her musical journey.
Beyond "The Voice of Odisha," Arpita has showcased her talent on
platforms like SaReGaMaPa in 2016 and Indian Idol. Her versatile skills
and dedication to Odia music have firmly established her as a prominent
figure in the industry.
