Shafaq, who hails from Mumbai, initiated her journey in the acting industry in 2010 by featuring in the television program "Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai". Subsequently, she portrayed the character of 'Karuna Saxena' in the television series "Shubh Vivah" in 2012. Between 2014 and 2017, she also played the role of 'Mayuri Gomukh Narayan' in the TV show "Chidiya Ghar".
Shafaq is not only a proficient Kathak Dancer, but she has also received formal training in this dance form from none other than Saroj Khan. Apart from her successful stint in Hindi television, she has also made notable appearances in films such as "Guest in London" and "Namak" in 2017, where she skillfully essayed the character of Shari.
