How To Make Doodh Bread Recipe:
- Heat a thick bottom pan and melt butter. Keep in mind that the butter should not turn brown. Put 2 slices of bread and after 2 seconds turn them so that butter is absorbed from both the sides.
- Bake the bread on low flame till it turns crisp and brown from both sides. Now put some milk as well as sugar in it. Sprinkle some milk on the bread with the help of a spoon. Cook on low flame for one minute.
- Meanwhile, mix custard powder in a cup of milk and whisk it well. Pour this milk in a pan and let the milk thicken on medium heat. When the milk becomes thick, pour it over the bread with a spoon.
- Once the layer of milk becomes thick, turn off the flame. We do not need very thick custard and it will thicken when it cools down a bit. Garnish with candied fruits (tutti frutti), chopped nuts and mint leaves.
- You can serve this homemade comfort food dessert hot, warm or cold.
