After actress Prakruti Mishra was assaulted in full front of the public by actor Babusan's wife Trupti on Saturday morning, the streets of Bhubaneswar were the scene of a high-voltage drama. Check out the video here.
In the widely shared video, Prakruti Mishra is heckled by Babusan's wife Trupti who accuses her of having extramarital encounters with Babusan. Babusan was also beaten severely by her. Trupti also tried to shove the actress out of the car while pulling her hair. The pair talked about the incident a few hours after it happened.
Speaking to OTV, Babusan revealed that Prakruti and he had been invited to attend the Utkal Association of Chennai's Utkal Diwas celebration as guests. The Premam actor explained, "She (Prakruti) is a very good friend of mine; hence I had gone to fetch her up from Bhubaneswar airport.
"Suddenly my wife and father-in-law appeared and insulted us and harassed Prakruti, which was utterly wrong. They did this on the way to the airport. I don't have any more issues because I can relate to my wife's emotions because she doesn't work in the film industry and has no idea what we do or how we do it. I'm in utter disbelief. The end," Babusan said to OTV.
On the other hand, Prakruti Mishra also discussed the unpleasant altercation. "I got mixed up in their family drama. We are only pals. Fans are aware of our friendship. I have no fear of anybody. I am constantly criticized for making strong, direct statements. This time, I must seek the assistance of the law to obtain justice since I am in the right," the actress said to OTV.
