Namita Agarwal has completed her graduation from Cuttack. She is one of the bright students from her childhood. She started formal training in Odissi, Chhanda, and Champu at the age of eight by Guru Sri Akhil Kumar Lenka. Growing up, she received formal music training from her musical gurus: Kumari Niroj Nalini Kuanr, Sri Tarani Ranjan Jena, Sri Bishwanath Rao, and Sri Harmohan Khuntia.
At the age of 15, she learned classical music from Guru Sri Nitai Sinha and light classical singing from Guru Sri Nabin Kishore Patnaik & Sri Sunakar Sahoo. After her marriage, she again learned Higher Indian Classical Singing from Guru Sri J.V.S. Rao, Guru Sri Deepak Basu and continued her training for light singing from Guru Sri Sunakar Sahoo & very eminent music director and singer - Guru Sri Radha Krushna Bhanja.
