Solanki Bhowmick is another name in the Odisha glamour and fashion industry ollywood, she is the Miss Photogenic Odisha 2016 and She was also a semi-finalist at Dellywood’s Miss & Mr. India 2016. She received the ‘Banichitra 2019’ award for her maiden film in Odisha.
In an interview, Solanki Bhowmick said “I used to practice fashion blogging and modeling since 2016 when I was pursuing my B Tech in KIIT University in Bhubaneswar,” and “To be in on silver screen has been a long-awaited dream come true for me. Accordingly, during my graduation, I appeared in some TV commercials. I used to do modeling for about three years. I worked in Tanishq Campaign and iconic professional.”
She has done a few Odia music videos and movies like the title track of ‘Premi Diwana’, ‘Chahun Chahun’, ‘Samaya Kouthi Aji’, ‘Mana Chorei Nelu’, ‘Mate Ishq Hela Re’.
