Chinese Chilli Paneer Odia Style Recipe

Chinese Chilli Paneer one of the favorite food items for Vegetarian people and they love to eat. Not only vegetarian but Nonvegterian people also like to eat this item as well. Today we are going to share the recipe for how to make this Chinese chili paneer in Odia style.

Chinese Chilli Paneer Odia Style Recipe

Ingredients for making Chinese Chilli Paneer:

  • Paneer - 250grams 
  • Capsicum - 1 small size sliced (Optional)
  • Corn Flour - 2-3tsp 
  • Maida - 1tsp 
  • Garlic - 1 and 1/2 tsp chopped 
  • Green Chillies - 2 sliced 
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1 and 1/2tsp 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 
  • Onions - 2 chopped 
  • Spring Onion - 1/2 cup chopped 
  • Red Chilli Powder - 2tsp 
  • Coriander powder - 1tsp 
  • Soya Sauce - 1tsp 
  • Vinegar - 1tsp 
  • Ajinomoto(China Salt) - 1pinch 
  • Cooking/Refined Oil to Fry 
  • Water 
  • Salt as per the taste

Procedure to make Chinese Chilli Paneer:

  1. At first slice the paneer into small cubes. 
  2. Mix together the cornflour, 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste, 1tsp red chili powder, maida, 1tsp salt, and water. 
  3. Then add paneer pieces with the mixture and mix gently to keep aside for 10 minutes. 
  4. Heat the cooking oil in a pan and fry the paneer pieces (Paneer should be coated with the mixture) till golden in color. 
  5. Then heat 2 tbsp of the cooking oil in another pan add cumin seeds. When it starts splutter then add chopped garlic, sliced capsicum, and onions and fry it for 1-2mins. 
  6. Then add 1tsp ginger-garlic paste, green chilies, coriander powder and fry for 1min and add some water. 
  7. After 2 minutes add chili powder, soya sauce, vinegar, Ajinomoto, spring onion, salt as per the taste and cook it for 7 minutes.
  8. Then add the fried paneer cubes in it.
  9. Mix well it for 2-3 mins and remove from flame. 
  10. Now the Chilli Paneer is ready to eat.
