A bodybuilder from Odisha, Mr. Janamejaya Mohanty will represent India at the upcoming Mr. Universe World Bodybuilding Championships organized by the National Amateur Body-Builders’ Association from November 24 to 26 this year in Hamburg, Germany.
Janamejaya is from Jajpur district in Odisha had earlier bagged several coveted prizes in professional bodybuilding, including Mr. India Trophy in 2016. He had also represented India in several top competitions like Mr. Asia and Mr. World Championships.
Janamejaya said “I have been doing bodybuilding since last 15 years but I have never had any sponsorship barring a government job at India Post. I will try to score well and stay among the top five at Mr. Universe and win a medal for the country and Odisha.”
Janamejaya will leave for Germany to take part in the championship on November 22.
