Chana Daal Coconut Vada Odia Recipe

  • Buta Dal  - 2 cup
  • Coconut grated - 1 ½ cup
  • Cumin Seeds  - 1 Tsp
  • Curry Leaves
  • Salt
  • Refine Oil
  • Onion - 1
  • Green chili 4-5 Nos.
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch
  • Garlic 4-5 cloves

Chana Daal Coconut Vada Odia Recipe Method

1.Wash and soak channa dal in water for 3 hours.

2.Grind channa dal, coconut, green chili, ginger, garlic, cumin seeds together. Make a very fine paste. Don’t add water to it.

3.Then add chopped onion, salt and mix it well.

4.Now heat oil in a pan. Make small balls and flatten them through your palms. Then fry it on medium flame till both sides turn light golden brown.

5.Serve hot with tomato sauce and chili sauce.
