Ingredients for Tamarind Fish Curry
- 500 gms Sliced Fish
- 1 Onion Sliced
- 1 Tomato (chopped)
- 1 tsp Garlic (chopped)
- 4 Dry Red Chillies
- 4 Green Chillies
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Tamarind Paste
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
How to make Tamarind Fish Curry
1. Grind coriander seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chilies, ginger, turmeric powder, and garlic with water to make a fine paste.
2. Mix the fish slices with some salt and a pinch of turmeric powder and keep aside for 5 minutes.
3. Heat a pan with 200ml oil and wait for heat properly.
4. Put the fish on the pan and wait till they turn golden brown on both sides. And bring it to a plate.
5. Now Heat the oil in another pan and put the onions till they turn golden brown.
6. Add the paste and the chopped tomatoes.
7. Wait for some minutes it will become dry.
8. Now add tamarind paste and water to it and boil it for some minutes.
9. Add the fish, green chilies, and salt.
10. Mix very gently and it will be ready in 6 minutes.
11. Serve with boiled rice.
