Mango Pickle Cooking Recipe in Odia and English

Mango Pickle Ingredients

  • Raw Mango – 2 nos
  • Dry Chilies – 2/3 Pc
  • Mustard Seed – 1tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1tsp
  • Curry leaf – 10 gm
  • Mustard Oil – 1 Large spoon
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Sugar – 1 Cup
  • Fried cumin powder – 1tsp
  • Chili Powder – 1tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – 1tsp
  • Dry chilies

How to make Mango Pickle


Step 1 
Cut the green mangoes into slices.)


Step 2 Heat Mustard oil in a deep pan, add Cumin seeds, mustard seed, Dry chilies, and curry leaves to it. Allow spluttering.


Step 3 Pour this sliced mango in it.


Step 4 Then add Turmeric Powder and salt according to the taste.


Step 5 Pour two cups of water in it and keep on stirring in medium flame for approx. 5 minutes and then add sugar to it.


Step 6 Again wait for another approx. 5 minutes and then remove it from the flame.


Step 7 Then add fried cumin and chili powder and mix it properly and serve.
